In a beautiful historic palace near the sea in Ortigia, Room Cucina, a modern space where seasonality and territoriality tell the identity of the Sicilian tradition on the table. Among the appetizers I tried the grilled polyp with mashed potatoes: a good dish with a predominant note of octopus grill dampened by pure. Among the first plates, clam linguine with mint and candied lemon zest: the one that liked less than the three, the mint and lemon covered the flavor of the clams. Favorite dish of the evening, spaghetti with Siracusana, with fennel, anchovies and pistachio beat, really delicious! Kind service and proper account.
I recommend it for a pleasant evening in a nice and non-touristy ambience.
