Rainy and cool evening in Milan the one I went to dinner at the restaurant Innocents Evasioni. Chef Tommaso Arrigoni kitchen is a creative one with dishes from Milan area and a touch of reimagining and inspiration and, I add, color. The Chef himself founded the restaurant in 1998 and the recognition of the Michelin star arrived a few years later, in 2009. In addition to the room where you sit for dinner there is a delightful garden with some tables where you can eat by day. In my case, in the evening, I have to admit that with the low lights you really breathed a romantic and cozy atmosphere and sitting at a corner of the room, I had the opportunity to have the overall view on the whole restaurant, situation decidedly favorable. I chose the Menu ‘6 halves’, 6 half portions are served to taste the best of the kitchen and starting to know the ideas of the Chef Arrigoni. Let me introduce you to some. The first 'half portion' was the smoked trout with bacon, Wisky cream and raw spinach. Excellent plate and the dish in which it was served was delicious. Then it was the time of the beef, bitto cheese, porcini, horanus and crispy quinoa. I loved the presentation, I dare I’d say almost acrobical! And then the watercolour Carnaroli rice creamed with Vezzena D'alpeggio, spices and dehydrated mushroom powder. Very delicate and very appreciated by the undersigned who is a lover of risotto. As second, broiled fillet, ginger potato and senapate pears. Excellent meat, perfect cooking and very soft and very tasty and interesting pairing with the sweet pear senapata. And to finish a dessert that looked more like an artwork than a dish of a Michelin star: sorbet of plums, sablè with hazelnuts, strawberries and Cognac gel, very good and beautiful to behold!
