After touring the winery and tasting in Ferrari winery I came to this elegant restaurant, two Michelin stars, and I was feeling a light head for the bubbles I had just drank! It is not very far from the Ferrari wineries, about 10 minutes by car; you climb along a road on the hill and you reach a cottage immersed in the vineyards. Once inside, before entering directly into the dining room, the guest is welcomed by a couple of elegant lounges to sit before or after the gourmet experience to relax and enjoy the day or the evening. The courses begin to arrive and among the entrée certainly surprising the mozzarella in a carriage flanked by a cannoli of flax seed, pasta cheese, raspberry, olives and watercress. I could not miss to taste the risotto of Chef Alfio Ghezzi: crested with Trentingrana, apples and thyme, an elegance and a refinement unique in the curl of pink petals intense and decisive and incredibly character to the palate. A worthy homage to the land of Trentino. The other first dish in the à la carte menu is the ‘Unusual Trentino’: spaghetti Felicetti, Trentingrana, Exgtravergine Garda Trentino DOP oil and Ferrari Perlè Trentodoc. If you are a chicken lover you can not miss the Locanda Margon free-range chicken and you will have a pleasant surprise: the Chef himself arrives in the room to directly cut the chicken for you! Before reaching the dessert, two other elegant, surprising and delicious dishes: a beet rose and a riot of porcini mushrooms, the magic of the mountains. And on the end with the dessert are served real jewels... Golden Nuggets to enjoy to conclude a memorable experience, definitely one of my favorite restaurants of 2018.
