Little Red Door, Paris

There is a small red door in the heart of Paris.
If you go through that door you can find yourself in a little world with low light (almost dark) and you are curious to discover more.
The décor has a very special style with upholstered chairs and armchairs and sofas covered with coloured fabrics and black curtains that help to make the atmosphere evocative and captivating

I would not have considered my short stay in the French Capital complete, about 3 weeks ago, if I had not tried at least one of the cocktails of this famous Bar that at the time of my visit was located at 11th place of the ranking of the ' 50 world Best Bars '.

After sitting down if you order a drink, the barman tells you that in this small world there is a particular menu from which you can decide what to try.
You are thus given a kind of fairy tale book.
Designs of various colors and little movable inserts to be lifted accompany you in the discovery of this list of cocktails as surprising as curious and funny.
You can choose the type of drink not only according to the content but also the one you think is more suitable for your personality.

My choice fell on 'Hedonism ', a creation based on Botanical Red Wine, Lot 40 Rye wiskey, apple, flowers, green chilies for €14.
I was sitting at the bar and I had a chat with the bartender while he was making my drink and I couldn't help but notice his tattoos: the one with the Titanic is some of the funniest I've ever seen!

And there it is, the cocktail 'Hedonism’ coming to me.
Small glass but extremely elegant composition with a small bouquet of white flowers and decorative pink.

Strong but delicate taste with sweet notes of flowers and perfumes that remain for a long time.
A place to come back to try them all.
