Il Pescatore, Procida

​The philosophy of the restaurant Il Pescatore in Procida located in the most beautiful point of the island (Marina di Corricella) is to follow a line that combines fresh and strictly local ingredients.
For this reason there is no menu, the list of products arrives fresh in the kitchen and the chef use them to create tasty and decidedly typical dishes!
Informal but very nice atmosphere, wooden tables with raffia placemats, directly on the marina of Marina di Corricella, generous portions and delicious dishes, if you go to Procida I highly recommend it!
PS: the house wine is produced from strictly Procida vines!

​And finally... Have you ever tasted the lemon-bread salad typical of Procida? 
For sure it is an unforgettable dish!
Originally from Campania, the lemon-bread looks like a fruit similar to a cedar, with a thin outer skin and an albedo (internal white part with a spongy consistency, which separates the skin from the pulp) very developed, to which it owes the name of "lemon of bread" (and should be a little less sour than the classic lemon).
If you think of it then together with chili and mint the result is a burst of energy and freshness, a real panacea in these hot days
