Cortile Verga, Ortygia

​When you visit Ortigia (because it is absolutely worth a visit) plan to stop for an ‘aperitivo’ or to eat a dish at Cortile Verga, a really delicious cocktail bar!

​A charming courtyard with marble tables, very attentive and kind staff (we spilled a freshly served cocktail in a clumsy way and they brought us another without adding it to the final bill), quick service and really nice cocktails to see pleasantly retro in the aesthetic.

​Among the cocktails I enjoyed Radical Chic (Vermouth, Wisky, Rhubarb, Cherry and Orange bitter) and Pliny's Kinara (Gin, Cherry Bitter, Rabarbaro, Falernum, Lemon).

​Delicious and convenient also the chopping board with tastings of local charcuterie and cheeses.
Needless to say, the atmosphere when the light goes down is nothing short of enchanting.
